London: International Olive Oil Competition

   Another international distinction was added to its rich BIOILIS’s biography based in Amaliada. At the International Olive Oil Competition held in London from 18th to 21st of June, was awarded the Silver Seal of Quality. This competition has very high quality criteria for the selection and award the olive oils since strict standards of evaluation are applied based on the taste methods set by the International Olive Oil Council and is ranked high in the world ranking. The tasting test of the olive oils in the competition is done with the method of blind tasting by expert panel tasters of international prestige (expert panel tasters).

The degree of difficulty is complemented by the very large global competition but also mainly by the many entries, which for 2020 exceeded 650 olive oils from around the world and from 25 olive producing countries such as France, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, USA, Argentina, Turkey, Israel etc. with a very high level of quality.
